BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Seimone Augustus scored 18 points and

away to a 73-49 victory on Kent State on Wednesday night in the

Thursday against Richmond (6-1), which beat Arkansas State 76-56.
Augustus injured her right knee in a collision with 10:13
remaining and did not return.
Doneeka Hodges and Temeka Johnson each scored 13 points and
Scholnda Hoston added 10 for LSU. Johnson also had eight assists
and eight rebounds.
Andrea Csaszar led Kent State (3-3) with 17 points, while
Lindsey Shearer had 15 points and seven rebounds.
Augustus' layup with 3:02 left in the first half broke a 24-24
tie. Johnson then scored five consecutive points, Augustus added
another layup and Tillie Willis scored with 18 seconds to go before
halftime. Shearer hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer that made it 37-27.
LSU scored the first six points of the second half and the
Tigers led by at least 14 points the rest of the way.
