LOS ANGELES (AP) -- UCLA closed its regular season with a 68-64 victory Sunday over cross-town rival USC.

The game before the third-largest crowd in Pauley Pavilion history put UCLA (16-11, 11-7) into a tie for third place with USC (15-12, 11-7) and Arizona State (17-10, 11-7).

UCLA chipped away at USC's second-half lead, when Noelle Quinn completed a layup at 4:22.

The Bruins' Nikki Blue, who scored 26 points, iced the Bruin win with two free throws with 3.5 seconds left to play.

Three-point shooting by USC and a series of turnovers by both teams resulted in a 28-26 halftime advantage for USC.

Blue lead all players in scoring and led UCLA with 7 rebounds and five assists. Quinn added 18 points with six rebounds.

For USC, Ebony Hoffman recorded a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.
