Montana 61, Pepperdine 51

MALIBU, Calif. (AP) -- Tournament MVP Hollie Tyler had 18 points
and four blocked shots Saturday to lead Montana to a 61-51 victory
over host Pepperdine in the Four Points LAX Turkey Shootout.

Jennifer Lacy scored 10 of her 26 points to rally Pepperdine
(1-3) from a 45-41 deficit with 9:19 remaining to a 51-48 lead with
5:14 to play, but Lady Griz (3-1) scored the final 13 points of the

Katie Edwards added 11 points for Montana, including two free
throws with 16 seconds remaining for the final margin.

Pepperdine jumped out to an early 11-2 lead with 14:33 remaining
in the first half.

Tyler scored Montana's next 10 points and the Lady Griz rallied
to take a 21-20 lead on a 3-pointer by Dana Conway with 5:53 left
in the half.

Pepperdine led 31-29 at halftime.

Keller finished with nine points and nine rebounds for Montana
and was also named to the all tournament team. Lynsey Monaco had
nine assists for the Lady Griz.

Lacy, who also was named to the all-tournament team, added 15
rebounds for the Waves.
