NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- Sheree Thompson scored 20 points
and Sarah Pfeifer added 19 off the bench Thursday night as Arkansas
defeated Louisiana-Lafayette 82-68.
Thompson was 5-of-5 shooting in the first half as the Lady
Razorbacks (8-1) took a 35-28 lead. The lead hit 10, 55-45, on
Rochelle Vaughn's three-point-play with 12:30 left and it was 74-59
after Thompson's jumper with 4:44 remaining.
Anna Petrakova scored 22 and Bernette Tolston added 19 to lead
the Ragin' Cajuns (7-2). Tolston's 3-pointer early in the second
half made it 37-34, the narrowest margin after halftime.
Arkansas' substitutes scored 26 points, to one point for ULL.
The Lady Razorbacks scored 29 points off 24 Ragin' Cajun
turnovers. ULL had 10 points off Arkansas' 11 miscues.
The game was played in North Little Rock, a three-hour drive
from Arkansas' Fayetteville campus.
