Montana 48, Wyoming 45

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) -- Katie Edwards scored 17 points, including
a free throw with five seconds remaining, to help Montana hold on
for a 48-45 victory over Wyoming Thursday night.

Montana (7-5) led 25-19 at halftime and built a 35-24 lead with
just over 12 minutes remaining. Wyoming (8-4) used a 19-8 run to
tie the score at 43 with 4:35 to play.

Hollie Tyler scored on Montana's next possession and Jody
Bolerjack's basket with 2:34 remaining tied the score at 45.

The teams had a series of missed shots until Tyler, who finished
with 10 points and nine rebounds, gave Montana a 47-45 lead with 41
seconds remaining.

Bolerjack missed a shot with 18 seconds remaining and a
3-pointer after Hanna Zavecz got the offensive rebound. Another
offensive rebound gave Erin Hicks a shot, but she missed as well
and Tyler rebounded.

Wyoming fouled Edwards, who hit 1-of-2 free throws.

Montana outrebounded Wyoming 42-32, led by Jodi McLeod with 10

Zavecz led Wyoming with 17 points, six rebounds and four assists
while Ashley Elliott finished with 14 point
