    Chambers' five 3-pointers lead Bulldogs in rout

    ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Sophomore Cori Chambers scored a career-high 26 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Georgia (No. 16 ESPN/USA Today; No. 18 AP) to a 97-42 rout of Stetson on Monday night.

    Freshman Megan Darrah added 17 points for the Lady Bulldogs (13-4), who snapped Stetson's four-game winning streak.

    Jaclyn Piloto led the Hatters (5-6) with seven points.

    Georgia put together three runs in the first half that humbled the Hatters. Georgia scored the first six points, including a 3-pointer by Alexis Kendrick.

    Piloto hit a jumper to trail 17-9 with 13:08 left in the half. But the Lady Bulldogs went on a 12-0 run behind Chambers' two jumpers and a pair of free throws for a 29-9 lead.

    Georgia went on another 12-0 run to end the half with a 51-17 advantage. Jessica Pierce hit a pair of spinning jumpers and two free throws during the spree.

    Early in the second half, Georgia outscored the Hatters 14-0 in four minutes. Darrah's layup off a steal gave the Lady Bulldogs a 50-point lead, 71-21, with 14:06 left.

    Stetson shot 30 percent and committed 26 turnovers. Georgia had seven turnovers.
