    Koehn adds season-high 21

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) -- Kansas State (No. 22 ESPN/USA Today, No. 23 AP) opened the game with an 11-0 run, and got 25 points from Kendra Wecker in an 87-44 victory Tuesday night over Missouri.

Wecker scored 19 of her points in the second half for the Wildcats (11-3, 2-1 Big 12), who also got a season-high 21 from Laurie Koehn. Wecker added 12 rebounds and five assists, and tied Baylor's Danielle Crockrom for second in the Big 12 in career double-doubles with 42.

LaToya Bond lead Missouri (7-7, 1-2) with 14 points. The Tigers' point total matched a season low, and the Wildcats had their best scoring output since a 105-61 victory over Illinois State on Nov. 26.

In addition to the game-opening run, the Wildcats took advantage of two lengthy scoreless droughts by the Tigers to build a 39-15 halftime lead.

The Tigers continued their season-long struggle on offense, committing 22 turnovers that resulted in 30 points for Kansas State. Missouri is averaging just 62 points and is now 1-6 when held under 60.

Former Kansas State guard Tiffany Brooks added 13 points for Missouri.

Koehn had five 3-pointers for Kansas State.
