CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -- Kristen O'Neill had 23 points and Cameo Hicks added 13 points and nine rebounds to lead Washington over Oregon State 75-64 on Saturday.

Shannon Howell scored 34 for Oregon State-- her second-straight game of more than 30 points-- but no other Beaver scored more than six.

The Huskies (7-11, 3-5 Pacific-10 Conference) shot 50 percent from the field and made 8 of 12 3-point attempts.

Washington led nearly the whole way, gaining a 14-point advantage just before halftime. The Beavers fought back, getting within 43-39 after Howell's steal and lay-in at 11:04 in the second half, but the Huskies went on a 10-0 run and Oregon State never got close again.

Emily Florence had eight assists for Washington, which had 41-27 rebound advantage. The Beavers (5-11, 1-6) got nine rebounds from Casey Bunn.

Second-leading scorer Mandy Close, who averages 10.4 points per game, was 1-of-11 from the field and finished with just four points. Oregon State made only 3 of 17 3-pointers and shot 34 percent from the field.

Howell, a senior guard who scored 33 points in the Beavers' win over Washington State on Thursday, topped 30 points for the fifth time in 38 games since transferring to Oregon State from Nebraska.

The Huskies, who have no seniors on their roster, stopped a four-game losing skid.
