BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) -- Brynn Cameron scored 14 points and Southern California used a 16-0 second-half run to beat California 76-71 Thursday night.

Jamie Funn added 13 points and Kim Gipson had 12 for the Trojans (13-4, 7-1 Pac-10). Jamie Hagiya scored all nine of her points in the second half after USC trailed by one at the break.

Leigh Gregory led Cal (8-9, 2-6) with 16 points and nine rebounds, and Kristin Iwanaga added 13 points. Keanna Levy had a career-high 10, but the difference in the game was the Trojans defense.

USC had 15 steals and forced 22 turnovers and scored 21 points off turnovers.

The Golden Bears closed to within three in the final 10 seconds, but never had a chance to tie the game in the late going. They led 41-38 at one point, but then Hagiya scored five straight points, and Cal didn't lead again.

With the score tied at 43, the Trojans scored 16 points in just under three minutes and took over the game. Hagiya had a 3-pointer and two assists during the run, which was ignited by a full-court press.
