Tech starts second half on 13-0 run

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) -- Cisti Greenwalt scored 20 points and had 14 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season, and Texas Tech (No. 14 ESPN/USA Today, No. 13 AP) defeated Missouri 75-45 Wednesday night.

Texas Tech (15-3, 6-1 Big 12) started the game slowly, scoring only once in its first seven trips down the floor, including a scoreless span of four minutes. The drought ended when Erin Grant hit a jump shot with 15:48 left. The Lady Raiders scored on their next five possessions and led 14-11.

Missouri (7-11, 1-6) kept it close much of the first half, forcing 10 lead changes and three ties. But Tech pulled away using a 15-2 run in the final 6:07 of the first half, including six points and two steals from Greenwalt and a 3-pointer from Alesha Robertson as the buzzer sounded to end the half with Tech leading, 35-22.

Tech started the second half on a 13-0 run.

Robertson finished with 13 points and LaToya Davis had 11 for Tech.

Tiffany Brooks led Missouri with 15 points and Christelle N'Garsanet scored 10.

The Lady Raiders have won nine of their last 10 games, the only loss coming at home to then-No. 20 Kansas State on Jan. 22.

Missouri dropped to 0-25 all time against ranked Big 12 opponents.
