MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) -- Katie Edwards hit all five Montana goals from the 3-point line Thursday to lead the Lady Griz with 25 points in a 73-53 Big Sky Conference victory over Portland State.

With the performance, Edwards has marked 52 points in Montana's last two games and has gone 14-of-22 from the three-point line. Hollie Tyler added 15 points against the Vikings while Jody McLeod recorded 11 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Lady Griz (11-6, 4-0).

Portland State took an early 5-4 lead, but Montana scored 12 straight points to take its first double-figure lead. During the run, Edwards hit back-to-back 3-pointers 45 seconds apart. The Lewistown junior scored 18 points in the first 20 minutes, almost outscoring the Portland State team.

Montana entered intermission leading 32-19, then led by as many as 22 points in the second half. The Vikings used an 8-0 run to cut their disadvantage to 61-49 with less than five minutes remaining. But Montana closed the game with a 12-4 run.
