PHILADELPHIA (SportsTicker) -- Cynthia Jordan scored 26 points as No. 25 Temple overcame a scoring drought of nearly nine minutes in the first half to post a 72-64 Atlantic 10 Conference victory over George Washington.
Jordan made 8-of-11 shots, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range, for the Owls, who remained unbeaten in the Atlantic 10.
Temple (16-3, 8-0 A-10) was held without a point from the 10:06 mark of the first half until 1:10 remained. During that span, the Owls missed seven shots and committed 11 turnovers, yet they still managed a 30-27 lead at the intermission.
Candice Dupree and Kamesha Hairston each recorded double-doubles for Temple. Dupree recorded 18 points and 12 rebounds and Hairston added 13 and 10.
Anna Montanna scored 22 points and Jessica Simmonds contributed 20 for George Washington (12-6, 5-2).
