LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Kiera Hardy scored 27 points and Jina Johansen finished with a career-best 16 points and nine assists, leading Nebraska to an 88-59 victory over No. 14 Iowa State on Saturday night.
Nebraska (15-8, 7-4 Big 12) raced to a 24-point lead in the first period and stayed comfortably ahead in front of a season-high crowd of 12,429 at the Devaney Center.
Megan Ronhovde scored 12 to lead Iowa State (18-4, 8-3). Katie Robinette and Lyndsey Medders each added 10 points.
The 29-point victory was Nebraska's largest winning margin over Iowa State since an 88-49 victory over the Cyclones in 1994. Iowa State had won 13 of the last 14 meetings.
