Idaho State 72, Montana State 59

BOZEMAN (AP) -- Chelsey Chambers scored 16 points and Molly Hays
added 13 points and 11 rebounds Saturday afternoon to lead Idaho
State to a 72-59 victory over Montana State in the regular-season
finale for both teams.

Montana State (8-18, 3-11 Big Sky) hit three 3-pointers in the
first minute to take a 9-0 lead, but Idaho State used its size and
40-30 rebounding advantage to post the win and eliminate MSU from
the league tournament.

Idaho State led just 38-34 at halftime, but Montana State made
just six field goals in the second half.

Christa Brossman added 12 points and seven rebounds for ISU
(12-15, 7-7) while India Soo added 10 points.

Alyssa Nelson led MSU with 13 points, followed by Hillary Scott
with 12 and Jaimey Tanner with 11. Kati Burrows got into foul
trouble and scored just nine points in 19 minutes before fouling

Burrows finished her career as the third all-time leading MSU
scorer with 1,528 points.
