Fresno State 64, Hawaii 48

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- Hawaii and Fresno State battled to a 24-24
halftime tie before the Bulldogs went on to defeat the Rainbow
Wahine 64-48 Saturday afternoon in the regular-season finale for
both teams.

Hawaii is 11-14 overall and 7-11 in the Western Athletic
Conference going into the WAC Tournament, which is slated to begin
Tuesday at Nevada. The Rainbow Wahine are to meet the Wolf Pack.

In extending its winning streak to four games, Fresno State
improved to 19-9 and 10-8.

Amy Parrish pumped in two points early in the second half to
give Fresno State a 27-26 lead, and the Bulldogs never trailed the
rest of the way.

Parrish finished with 20 points, nine rebounds, seven assists
and six steals.

Janevia Taylor led Hawaii with 14 points. Teammate Amy Sanders
added 11.
