KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Chelsea Aubrey had 15 points and six rebounds to lead Nebraska to a 60-45 win over Oklahoma State Tuesday night in the first round of the Big 12 tournament.

Oklahoma State (7-20) was within seven points with 2:25 to play, but two free throws and a lay-up by Nebraska put the game out of reach at 56-45 with 1:25 left.

Kiera Hardy had 13 points for the Cornhuskers (17-12) and Jelena Spiric added 10 points and eight rebounds.

Taleesha Conder led the Cowgirls with 14 points before fouling out with one minute left, after spending most the second half on the bench. Nina Stone added 12 points for Oklahoma State.
