    TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Christelle N'Garsanet, EeTisha Riddle and Carlynn Savant had double-doubles, powering the Tigers to a 78-54 win over Clemson in the first game of the season-opening WBCA/BTI Classic on Friday night.

    No. 17 Vanderbilt played No. 20 Arizona State in the other opening-round game later.

    N'Garsanet had 17 points and 10 rebounds, Riddle had 14 and 13 and Savant 10 and 10.

    LaToya Bond added 12 points for the Tigers, scoring 10 in the second half when Clemson made a run.

    Adrianne Bradshaw led the Lady Tigers with 16 points, and D'Lesha Lloyd scored 11.

    Missouri took the lead for good at 22-21 on Alyssa Hollins' jumper with 7:12 left in the first half. It was the first shot of a 16-0 run that carried Missouri to a 36-21 lead with 3:28 to go.

    In the second half, Clemson closed within 51-44 on two free throws by Lloyd with 10:57 remaining.

    But Bond drove for a layup and capped an 11-1 surge by Missouri with a three-point play, opening a 66-47 lead with 5:08 left.
