    Williams scores 13 in No. 20 Vanderbilt's second win

    CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) -- Caroline Williams scored 13 points to lead Vanderbilt (No. 20 ESPN/USA Today; No. 17 AP) to a 65-51 win Saturday over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

    Carla Thomas had 11 points and Dee Davis added nine points and four rebounds for Vanderbilt (2-1). The Commodores shot 46 percent en route to a 25-20 halftime lead.

    Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (0-1) took its only lead at 35-34 with 12 minutes remaining in the second half before Vanderbilt went on a 14-0 run.

    Terra Andrews led the Islanders with a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Nicole Duncan added 11 points.
