Arkansas State 70, Missouri 67

JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) -- Adrianne Davis scored 17 points and
grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Arkansas State to a 70-67 victory
Saturday night over Missouri.

The Lady Indians (1-0) led 41-25 at the half, but their shooting
dropped off after intermission and Missouri (1-2) surged back with
more accurate shots to cut it close at the end.

The visitors, led by Tiffany Brooks' 15 points, hit 61 percent
of their field-goal attempts in the second half, up from 36 percent
before the half, but still fell short.

Amber Abraham added 14 points for ASU, and Kelsey Lock scored 11
while also getting 7 boards.

LaToya Bond scored 13 points for Missouri, and Carlynn Savant
had 12 points and 8 rebounds.
