EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Chelsea Wagner scored 21 points to lead Oregon to a 61-50 victory against Nevada on Sunday.

Wagner, making her first start since a knee injury last season ended her junior year, hit five 3-pointers as she tied her career high for points in a game.

Reserve forward Sabrina Keys led the Wolf Pack with 15 points and seven rebounds, while Brandi Fitzgerald recorded 10 points.

The Ducks (2-1) jumped on Nevada (0-2) early, as Wagner knocked down three 3-pointers in the opening six minutes to help Oregon build an 18-6 lead that eventually grew to 36-20 by halftime.

Wagner sparked the Ducks early in the second half as well, making another 3-pointer a free throw in the first two minutes to give Oregon a 42-22 advantage. Gabrielle Richards followed with two free throws and an inside basket for the Ducks' largest lead of the game, 46-23.

The Wolf Pack answered with a 19-7 run to cut Oregon's lead to 53-42 with at the 5:25 mark. But Wagner sank another 3-pointer on the Ducks' ensuing possession and they finished Nevada off by making 5-of-8 free throws in the final minutes. ^
