EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Chelsea Wagner scored 21 points to lead
Oregon to a 61-50 victory against Nevada on Sunday.
Wagner, making her first start since a knee injury last season
ended her junior year, hit five 3-pointers as she tied her career
high for points in a game.
Reserve forward Sabrina Keys led the Wolf Pack with 15 points
and seven rebounds, while Brandi Fitzgerald recorded 10 points.
The Ducks (2-1) jumped on Nevada (0-2) early, as Wagner knocked
down three 3-pointers in the opening six minutes to help Oregon
build an 18-6 lead that eventually grew to 36-20 by halftime.
Wagner sparked the Ducks early in the second half as well,
making another 3-pointer a free throw in the first two minutes to
give Oregon a 42-22 advantage. Gabrielle Richards followed with two

The Wolf Pack answered with a 19-7 run to cut Oregon's lead to
53-42 with at the 5:25 mark. But Wagner sank another 3-pointer on
the Ducks' ensuing possession and they finished Nevada off by
making 5-of-8 free throws in the final minutes.
