Willis scores 29 as UCLA knocks off No. 11 Georgia

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Lisa Willis scored 29 points to lead UCLA to
an 84-64 victory over No. 11 Georgia in the semifinals of the
Loyola Marymount University/Ayres Hotel Thanksgiving tournament on
Friday night.

All five UCLA starters scored in double digits, including Nikki
Blue with 13 points and seven rebounds. Noelle Quinn had 11 points
and nine rebounds.

The Bulldogs were plagued by foul trouble and played without
Cori Chambers for the last 15 minutes of the game.

The Bruins (1-2) lead 46-30 at the break and finished the game
shooting 54.5 percent (20 for 37).

UCLA shot 20-for-23 from the free-throw line, while Georgia
attempted just nine shots from the line.

Sherill Baker led Georgia with 14 points. Tasha Humphrey scored
13 and Megan Darrah 12.

The Bruins will play for the tournament championship on
Saturday. They will face the winner of the LMU- Charlotte game.
Georgia will face the loser in the consolation game.
