    Florida State 69, Montana 56

    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Ganiyat Adeduntan scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds Sunday to lead Florida State to a 69-56 victory over Montana in the championship game of the Seminole Classic.

    The Lady Griz (3-1) trailed 11-7, with 14:20 to play in the first half after a 3-pointer by Katie Edwards, but Florida State (4-1) went on a 17-2 run over the next 4:46 to take a 28-9 lead.

    FSU led 36-15 with 5:10 to play, but Montana shut the Seminoles out the rest of the half and pulled within 36-23 at the break after Dana Conway scored the final five points of the half. Conway led Montana with a career high 18 points. She also grabbed six rebounds.

    Florida State built as much as a 48-29 lead on a basket by LaQuinta Neely with 12:40 remaining. Montana rallied to within 56-47 on two free throws by Conway with 5:56 remaining.

    Senior Jody McLeod pulled Montana within 60-53 on an inside basket with 3:26 remaining, but the Seminoles' Nikki Anthony hit a jumper to make it 62-53, ending UM's comeback.

    Holly Johnson had 11 points for FSU while Anthony and Britany Miller scored 10 each.

    Johanna Closson added 12 points and Katie Edwards 11. Edwards was named to the all tournament team after averaging 17.5 points in UM's two games.
