HONOLULU (AP) -- Amy Sanders scored a field goal at the buzzer Sunday night to give Hawaii a 68-66 victory over Texas A&M.

The Aggies (2-2) had tied the game at 66-66 with 16 seconds left on a 3-pointer by A'Quonesia Franklin. After a timeout, Hawaii's Cassidy Chretein missed a jumper and Sanders got the put back.

Sanders led Hawaii with 14 points. Chretein added 13.

Morenike Atunrase led Texas A&M with 19 points while Tamea Scales had her second double-double of the season with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The victory gave Hawaii (3-2) third place in the Hawaiian Airlines Rainbow Wahine Classic.

Texas A&M led 38-33 at the half but shot only 22 percent from the field in the second half. Chretein capped an 11-0 run for Hawaii with a basket to take a 48-47 lead with 12:21 remaining.

Hawaii's biggest lead was five points at 62-57 with 5:16 left.
