Wyoming 50, Montana 45

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) -- Jodi Bolerjack had 11 points to lead
Wyoming to a 50-45 win over Montana in a defensive battle.

Wyoming (3-1) shot 30.6 percent from the field and Montana (3-2)
shot 30.9 percent.

Montana jumped out to a 7-0 lead, but Wyoming battled back to
take a 20-19 lead on a layup by Megan McGuffey with 2:13 left in
the half. Wyoming led 24-21 at halftime.

Katie Edwards led Montana with 15 points, including the first
four points of the second half as Montana went up 25-24. But
Michelle Taylor hit two free throws at the 18:22 mark and Wyoming
led the rest of the way.

Wyoming built as much as a 42-33 with 9:42 remaining, but
Montana battled back within 44-41 on a 3-pointer by Sonya Rogers.
Wyoming answered with a 3-pointer by Hanna Zavecz and Taylor made
another basket to put the Cowgirls up 49-41.

Tamara Guardipee finished with five poitns, 12 rebounds and four
blocked shots for Montana, which outrebounded Wyoming 51-34.
