Kansas 100, New Orleans 50

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) -- Six players scored in double figures to
help Kansas score 100 points for the 30th time in school history as
they stomped past New Orleans 100 to 50 Saturday at Allen
Fieldhouse.

Erica Hallman led with 20 points. Marija Zinic, Kaylee Brown,
Taylor McIntosh, Crystal Kemp, and Ivana Catic all also scored in
double figures.

Hallman hit 7 of 12 field goals, including 4 of 7 from behind
the 3-point line in just 22 minutes of action. She was 2 points
away from a career high. Zinic, a freshman post player from Serbia
and Montenegro, had a career-high 12 points and also had career
highs in field goals with five and fieldgoal attempts with 10.

Catic, also from Serbia and Montenegro, continued her strong
freshman season by dishing out nine assists, including eight in the
first half. She scored 10 points and was only one assist and three
rebounds away from a triple-double. Brown was 3-for-5 from 3-point
range in 18 minutes of work to help account for her 10 points. Kemp
had 10 points and seven rebounds, and McIntosh had 10 points and
four rebounds to round out the scoring for the Jayhawks.

Kansas tied a school record by committing only six turnovers in
the game. They had only two turnovers at the half, helping them
jump out to a 58-27 lead.
