    Queenan's double-double lifts No. 25 BC past BU

    CHESTNUT HILL, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- Brooke Queenan scored 17 points and pulled down 15 rebounds as Boston College (No. 25 ESPN/USA Today; unranked AP) posted a 66-49 victory over Boston University in an intracity matchup.

    Controlling the play inside, Queenan scored eight points and grabbed 10 boards as the Eagles (9-2) jumped out to a 36-22 halftime lead. They held a 20-4 edge in points in the paint, while the Lady Terriers shot 28 percent (9-of-32) from the field in the opening 20 minutes.

    Boston College extended the advantage to 26 points in the second half before cruising to its third straight win.

    Aja Parkham scored 15 points and Kathrin Ress added 12 for the Eagles, who have won five of the last six meetings with their local rival.

    Kasey Devine, Cheri Raffo and Jesyka Burks-Wiley scored 11 points each for Boston University (6-3), which shot just 2-of-16 (13 percent) from 3-point range.
