Texas A&M 62, Dartmouth 47

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) -- Takia Starks scored 12 points and
Danielle Gant added 11 Wednesday night to lead Texas A&M to a 62-47
victory over Dartmouth.

Gant scored seven of her points in the second half. She also had
eight rebounds.

Both teams played poorly early in the first half. The Aggies
(7-2) missed their first nine shots, but Dartmouth only led 2-0.
Texas A&M got its first basket with 14:52 left. Dartmouth shot
3-of-10 to take an 8-4 lead with 11:26 left in the first half.

The Aggies led 24-21 at the half.

Angie Soriaga, playing before a hometown crowd, led Dartmouth
(5-2) with 14 points. Ashley Taylor added 10, including three
straight 3-pointers in the first half before leaving the game with
an injury.

Starks scored eight of the Aggies' first 14 points in the second
half. Soriaga tied the game at 38-38 midway through the second half
on a 3-pointer, but Texas A&M went on a 10-0 run over the next six
