COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) -- Takia Starks scored 12 points and
Danielle Gant added 11 Wednesday night to lead Texas A&M to a 62-47
victory over Dartmouth.
Gant scored seven of her points in the second half. She also had
eight rebounds.Both teams played poorly early in the first half. The Aggies
(7-2) missed their first nine shots, but Dartmouth only led 2-0.
Texas A&M got its first basket with 14:52 left. Dartmouth shot
3-of-10 to take an 8-4 lead with 11:26 left in the first half.The Aggies led 24-21 at the half.Angie Soriaga, playing before a hometown crowd, led Dartmouth
(5-2) with 14 points. Ashley Taylor added 10, including three
straight 3-pointers in the first half before leaving the game with
