    LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Eshaya Murphy scored 17 points to lead USC to a 72-48 victory over Oregon Thursday afternoon.

    The Women of Troy (8-3, 2-0 Pac-10) had eight different players score in the first 10 minutes as they quickly took control of the game.

    Gabrielle Williams led Oregon (8-3, 0-2) with 14 points, the only Ducks player in double figures.

    Jamie Hagiya added 12 points for USC, and Camille LeNoir had 11. Jamie Funn had 11 rebounds in the victory.

    The Trojans had 15 steals and caused 25 Oregon turnovers.

    USC shot 51.6 percent from the floor in the first half and went on a 13-0 run on the way to a 41-17 halftime lead. Another 13-0 run by USC gave it a 66-35 lead with six minutes left in the game.
