    Montana 79, New Orleans 43

    MISSOULA (AP) -- Dana Conway scored 16 points Wednesday night to lead Montana to a 79-43 victory over New Orleans in the 26th annual Lady Griz Holiday Inn Classic.

    Montana (9-2) will face UNC Asheville in Thursday's title game, which starts at 7:35 p.m.

    Montana and New Orleans (29) were tied 19-19 with 6:09 to play, but the Lady Griz closed the half on a 15-2 run to take a 34-21 lead to the locker room.

    UM then scored the first 11 points of the second half to go up 45-21 with 16:42 to play, and the game was decided.

    The second-half lead reached 77-38, when freshman Sonya Rogers hit two free throws with 2:02 remaining.

    Conway hit five-of-nine shots, including four-of-five from three-point range. She also matched Jody McLeod with a game-high eight rebounds.

    Mandy Morales had 11 points for UM, and Britney Lohman added 10.

    UNC Asheville (8-2) advanced with a come-from-behind 79-73 victory over North Dakota State (5-6) in Wednesday's first game.

    NDSU will face the Privateers (2-9) in Thursday's consolation game, which begins at 5:05 p.m.
