    SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- Chante Black tied a career high with 16 points and Jessica Foley scored a season-best 14 as No. 2 Duke rolled to a 105-55 victory over St. John's in the first round of the Surf and Slam Hoop Classic.

    Six Blue Devils scored in double figures and the club matched the school record with 13 3-pointers on 23 attempts. Foley led the charge, making 4-of-5 from the arc.

    Monique Currie scored 15 points while Mistie Williams and Laura Kurz added 13 apiece for Duke (10-0), which never looked back after opening the game with a 17-2 run.

    The Blue Devils held a 44-24 lead at halftime and shot 66 percent (25-of-38) after the break to coast into Friday's championship game against San Diego.

    Angela Clark scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Red Storm (9-2), who were 6-of-29 (21 percent) from the floor in the first half and had just six assists against 21 turnovers overall.

    St. John's will face Montana State in the consolation game Friday.
