BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) -- Kerri Gardin scored 15 points and Dawn
Chriss had 13 Wednesday night as No. 25 Virginia Tech rebounded
from its first loss with a 91-52 victory against High Point.
The Hokies (13-1), beaten 65-44 at North Carolina State on
Monday night, dominated in every phase against the team from the
Big South. They led 42-24 by halftime, outscored the Panthers 48-16
in the paint, shot almost 58 percent.
High Point (9-4) got 19 points from Katie O'Dell and 10 from
Leslie Cook, but only 23 from everyone else. The Panthers shot 31
percent and were outrebounded 48-29.
