Texas 70, Nebraska 62

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Tiffany Jackson scored 22 points and had 12
rebounds to lead Texas to a 70-62 victory over Nebraska on
Wednesday night.

Aubry Cook added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Longhorns
as Texas (9-6, 3-2 Big 12) turned a five-point halftime lead,
37-32, into a 17-point advantage in the second half to maintain the
win over Nebraska (10-6, 2-3).

Kiera Hardy had a game-high 29 points, including six 3-pointers,
to lead Nebraska.

The score was tied five times and the lead changed five times in
the game. For the third game in a row Nebraska shot less than 40
percent from the field, hitting only 38 percent to the Longhorns'
54 percent. Texas also outrebounded Nebraska by 40-23.

Hardy's 3-pointers (6-10) broke Nebraska's all-time 3-point mark
with 158 for her career. Kelsey Griffin added 12 points.

The victory was the third straight for Texas and the 878th for
Jody Conradt, who is within one victory of tying former North
Carolina coach Dean Smith for No. 2 in all-time collegiate
basketball wins
