Montana State 57, Northern Arizona 55

BOZEMAN (AP) -- Amanda DeHaan scored 16 points, including a layup
with 2.4 seconds remaining, to lift Montana State to a 57-55 upset
of league-leading Northern Arizona Saturday afternoon.

Northern Arizona (13-6, 3-1 Big Sky) took its first lead of the
second half at 37-35 on a layup by Kim Winkfield with 14:13
remaining. The Lumberjacks increased their lead to 45-39 with 10:26
remaining on a basket by Sandra Viksryte, who finished with 22
points and 13 rebounds.

NAU held the lead until Jenny Heringer made her only basket of
the game -- a 3-pointer -- to tie the score at 49 with 3:54

NAU forward Megan Porter converted the second of two free throws
with 34 seconds remaining to tie the score at 55.

Both Heringer and DeHaan got off shots in the final five
seconds. Both missed and Viksryte got the rebound. However, she was
called for traveling, setting up the in-bounds play that led to
DeHaan's game-winner.

Alyssa Nelson added 14 points for Montana State (2-13, 1-2),
which led 27-23 at halftime. The Bobcats made 24-of-29 free throws,
compared to 12-of-19 for NAU.

Northern Arizona beat Montana 65-60 on Thursday night, ending a
nine-game winning streak for the Lady Griz.
