Oregon State 68, Washington State 67 (OT)

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -- Mandy Close's driving layup with 2 seconds left in overtime gave Oregon State a 68-67 win against Washington State on Saturday.

Kim Butler led the Beavers (8-8, 2-6 Pacific-10 Conference) with 27 points and Close scored 17 of her 21 points after halftime.

Crystal Blue, Amanda DuRocher and Keisha Moore had 14 points apiece for the Cougars (6-12, 0-9), who have dropped 11 straight.

Washington State's Dani Montgomery hit a 3-pointer late in regulation to send the game to overtime. In the back-and-forth extra period, Katie Appleton's basket with 15 seconds remaining had given the Cougars a 67-66 lead.

The game had 12 lead changes and neither team led by more than seven points. The Beavers led 26-24 at the half. ^
