FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -- Rochelle Vaughn's 3-point shooting powered a recovery from a 5-point deficit and gave Arkansas its first lead of the second half on the way to a 60-58 victory Sunday over Mississippi State.

Vaughn finished with a game-high 22 points, including 6-of-13 from long distance.

The Lady Bulldogs (6-13, 1-5 Southeastern Conference) led 28-26 at intermission, and were up 5 points, 33-28, two minutes into the second half.

But Vaughn hit three 3-pointers over the next four minutes and the Lady Razorbacks (12-6, 4-1) went ahead 39-38. After a tie at 40 each, Melissa Hobbs gave Arkansas the lead by hitting two free throws.

Arkansas led by as many as 8 points until the Lady Bulldogs fought back to get a brief lead, 55-53, when Doceide Warren hit a 3-pointer with 1:59 remaining.

Brittney Vaughn tied the score with a layup at 0:32.5, and was fouled as she made the basket. She hit the front end of a one-and-one to put Arkansas ahead for good.

Leslie Howard added 19 points for Arkansas.

The Lady Bulldogs were led by Robin Porter and Miayorka Johnson, with 11 points each, while Warren finished with 10.
