AUSTIN (AP) -- Tamra Cobbins' free throw with 7.4 seconds left in overtime lifted Texas to a 71-70 win Sunday over Kansas State, tying coach Jody Conradt with Dean Smith for second on the all-time career list at No. 879.

Tennessee coach Pat Summitt recorded her 900th win on Thursday. She became the NCAA's winningest coach last March, ahead of the former North Carolina coach and Conradt.

Tiffany Jackson scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for Texas (10-6, 4-2 Big 12). Daria Mieloszynska finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the Longhorns' 30th straight Big 12 win at home.

Claire Coggins scored 26 points and JoAnn Hamlin had 18 for Kansas State (13-4, 3-3).

Tied at 62 at the end of regulation, Erika Arriaran scored the first five points for Texas in overtime. Mieloszynska added three points in overtime, including a free throw with 28 seconds left that gave the Longhorns a 70-68 lead.

Cobbins made 1-of-2 free throws for the 3-point cushion. It proved critical when Hamlin's basket at the final horn left the Wildcats a point short.
