HONOLULU (AP) -- Janevia Taylor scored 21 points and pulled down
13 rebounds Thursday night as Hawaii ended a four-game slide with a
61-48 victory over Utah State.
Taylor was 8-of-11 from the field and 4-of-6 from the free-throw
line as the Rainbow Wahine improved to 11-6 overall and 2-4 in the
Western Athletic Conference.
Teammate Brittany Grice added 18 points in the first conference
meeting of the two schools.
Jenny Gross had 12 points for the Aggies, who fell to 1-15 and
The Rainbow Wahine hit 40 percent of their shots in the game, to
the Aggies' 29 percent.
Hawaii was slated to host Nevada on Saturday.
