    (24) BOSTON COLLEGE 57, VIRGINIA 43

CHESTNUT HILL, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- Brooke Queenan did not treat Virginia like royalty.

Queenan scored 15 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lift No. 24 Boston College to a 57-43 Atlantic Coast Conference triumph over Virginia.

Connecting on 5-of-11 shots from the floor and 4-of-6 from the line, Queenan was the only Eagle in double figures.

But she still had plenty of help as Lisa Macchia and Kathrin Ress scored nine points apiece. Sarah Marshall chipped in eight for Boston College (14-6, 1-4 ACC), which shot 45 percent (18-of-40) from the field and held a 37-28 rebounding advantage.

Virginia (13-5, 2-4) was led by Tiffany Sardin's 12 points and seven rebounds. Sharnee Zoll contributed six points and eight assists for the Cavaliers, who shot only 34 percent (20-of-58), including a pitiful 1-of-15 from the arc.
