TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Chloe Kerr scored all nine of her points in the second half, including two free throws with 45 seconds left, to give USC a 73-72 victory over Arizona on Thursday night.

Before Kerr's game-winning foul shots, she made a three-point play with 1:07 left to trim the Trojans' deficit to 72-71.

The Wildcats (7-15, 3-9 Pac-10) had their last chance fall short when Ashley Whisonant shot an air ball from about 10 feet away in the closing seconds.

USC (14-7, 8-4) was led Meghan Gnekow's 17 points while Eshaya Murphy added 14.
