TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Noelle Quinn led a hot-shooting UCLA team
with 26 points to help bring the Bruins to a 90-64 victory over
Arizona on Saturday.
UCLA was shooting 48 percent from the field by halftime and
never cooled off. The Bruins made 14 of their first 19 shots in the
second half, capped off with Quinn's three-point play for a 77-43
lead with 10:28 left.
The Bruins shot 62 percent in the second half and a season-high
55 percent for the game. Arizona made 42 percent of its shots, but
committed 26 turnovers.
The Bruins (13-9, 8-5) also received 20 points from Lisa Willis.
Lindsey Pluimer and Nikki Blue added 16 and 13 points,
respectively. Natalie Jones led Arizona (7-16, 3-10) with 22
points, while Kelsey Burns added 15 and Ashley Whisonant 12.
Quinn started the Bruins off to a 22-9 run with a three-pointer.
