Hawaii 76, San Jose State 61

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- Janevia Taylor scored 23 points and
pulled down eight rebounds to lead Hawaii over San Jose State 76-61
on Saturday.

Amy Sanders scored 15 points and Tanya Smith chalked up 14.

Hawaii (13-7, 4-5 Western Athletic Conference)dominated the
game, never trailing by more than two, and that was early on. By
the half, Hawaii had a seven-point lead and kept building on it.

Hawaii sunk 50 percent of its 3-point shots and sunk 43 percent
from the field.

San Jose State's (10-9, 5-3) leading scorer was Lamisha
Augustine, who had 22 points and 14 rebounds.

Amber Jackson scored 14 and Anetero Uiagalelei had 11, but the
rest of the team only contributed a combined 14 points.
