MISSOULA (AP) -- The Montana women's basketball team emerged from a shooting slump in record-breaking style with a 105-55 victory over Idaho State on Saturday.

The 105 points matches a team record for points in a game set against Weber State in 1990. Montana made 16 3-pointers, breaking a team record of 12 set against Idaho State in 2003 and Katie Edwards made 5-of-7 3-pointers, making the senior from Lewistown the UM career leader in 3-point field goals with 214. The old mark of 212 was set by Lauren Cooper from 1996-2001.

Five Montana players were in double figures, led by Mandy Morales with 24 points, Johanna Closson with 21 and Edwards with 19.

Morales made 6-of-8 3-pointers and Dana Conway made 3-of-4 3-pointers to finish with 17 points. Jody McLeod added 13 points and 10 rebounds and Montana outrebounded Idaho State 48-37.

Montana (15-5, 4-3 Big Sky) led 54-25 at halftime and outscored ISU (10-11, 4-3) 51-30 in the second half.

Montana made nearly 53 percent of its shots from the field, including 66.7 percent (16-of-24) from 3-point range. Idaho State shot 31 percent from the field.

Andrea Lightfoot led Idaho State with 20 points while Natalie Doma finished with 16 points and 16 rebounds.
