EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Chelsea Wagner scored a career-high 24
points and the Oregon Ducks set a school record with 15 3-pointers
in a 78-58 win over Arizona on Thursday night.
The Ducks (14-9, 5-8 Pacific-10) hit 56 percent from 3-point
range and Wagner tied a school record with eight 3-pointers.
Kaela Chapdelaine and Kedzie Gunderson added 10 points apiece
for Oregon, and Gabrielle Richards had 14 rebounds.
Natalie Jones scored 17 points and Ashley Whisonant added 16 for
the injury-riddled Wildcats (7-17, 3-11), who dressed only seven
players and lost their fifth consecutive game.
The Ducks hit seven 3-pointers on 13 attempts in the first half,
including three by Wagner. Her first sparked a 10-0 run that turned
a one-point deficit into a 23-13 lead. Her last came at the buzzer
to give Oregon a 39-30 advantage at the break.
She then drained 3-pointers on consecutive possessions in the
opening minutes of the second half to put the Ducks in control
