CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -- Kim Butler had 27 points and eight
rebounds to lead Oregon State to a 91-83 win against Arizona at
Gill Coliseum Saturday night.
Anita Rivera added a career-high 25 points for the Beavers
(11-11, 5-9 Pacific-10 Conference).
The Beavers went on a 20-1 run during a four-minute stretch
early in the second half to take a 52-24 lead. Oregon State later
went ahead by 30. But Burns led a furious comeback in which the
Wildcats eventually got within six at 78-72 with two minutes left.
But Arizona would get no closer as Oregon State made enough free
throws down the stretch to take the victory.
Joy Hollingsworth led Arizona (7-18, 3-12) with 24 points and
six rebounds. Kelsey Burns added 19 points, all in the second half.
Oregon State scored the final eight points of the first half to
break open a close game and lead 30-20 at halftime. The teams then
