FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -- Eleia Roddy and Carly Ormerod
accounted for 35 points and 18 rebounds Sunday as Kentucky
overpowered Arkansas 79-50.
Roddy scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Wildcats,
while Ormerod led all scorers with 18 points and pulled down 7
The Lady Razorbacks (13-11, 5-6 Southeastern Conference) had
just one player in double figures of any variety, with Sheree
Thompson scoring 13 points. Arkansas made only 28 percent of its
shots from the field, and just half its free throws.
Meanwhile, the Wildcats (17-6, 6-4) were making shots at nearly
twice the rate, hitting 54 percent of their field-goal attempts.
Kentucky led 34-24 at the half. Sarah Elliott and Samantha
Mahoney added 10 points each for the Wildcats.
