California 73, Arizona 56

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Devanei Hampton, Renee Wright and Krista
Foster all scored 13 points as California beat Arizona 73-56
Thursday night.

Alexis Gray-Lawson added 12 points for the Bears (16-9, 8-7
Pac-10), who shot 51 percent from the field.

Arizona (7-19, 3-13) made only 32 percent of his field goals and
committed 22 turnovers in losing its seventh consecutive game.

Hampton paced a 10-2 run early in the second half with a free
throw, an assist on a three-on-one break, a put-back and a
turnaround jumper in the lane.

Sarah Pool put the finishing touches on Cal's spurt with a
3-pointer with the shot clock winding down for a 47-25 lead with
15:26 left.

The Bears led 58-31 after a three-point play from Shantrell
Sneed with 9:22 remaining.

The Wildcats, who trailed 35-19 at halftime, got 13 points
apiece from Ashley Whisonant and Joy Hollingsworth. Jessica Arnold
and Natalie Jones each had 12.
