Northern Arizona 84, Montana State 56

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- Sandra Viksryte scored 15 points and
grabbed nine rebounds Thursday in an 84-56 victory over Montana

Northern Arizona (18-7, 8-2 Big Sky) has won 13 straight at home
dating back to last season.

Megan Porter and Alyssa Wahl added 14 points each and all 13 NAU
players scored at least two points.

Montana State (2-19, 1-8) tied the score at 30 on a jumper by
Jenny Heringer with two minutes left in the first half, but NAU
closed with an 8-0 run to take a 38-30 halftime lead.

The Lumberjacks took a 45-35 lead on a 3-pointer by Megan Porter
with 15:10 remaining and took a 67-47 lead on a free throw by
Porter with 5:55 to play.

A 3-pointer by Rachel Blackman with 21 seconds gave NAU the
final margin. Kim Winkfield had seven assists for the Lumberjacks.

Jenny Heringer led MSU with 13 points and seven rebounds,
followed by Nubia Garcia with 10 points. Scotta Morton, who injured
her ankle in last Friday's Cat-Griz game did start, but scored just
four points in 30 minutes.
