USC 77, UCLA 73

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Chloe Kerr had a career-high 21 points and Eshaya Murphy had 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead USC past UCLA 77-73 Saturday.

Meghan Gnekow had 13 points and Allison Jaskowiak added 11 points for USC (16-9, 10-6 Pacific 10 Conference).

Noelle Quinn had game highs of 28 points and 11 rebounds for UCLA (15-10, 10-6).

The Trojans led by as many as 15 early in the second half, but the Bruins took a one-point lead in the final minute after a 3-pointer from Quinn.

Jaskowiak made a pair of free throws with 21 seconds left to give the Trojans back the lead 74-73.

UCLA's Nikki Blue missed a potentially game-winning jumper with four seconds left, USC was fouled getting the rebound and Gnekow made one of two free throws.

Murphy intercepted a long inbounds pass and made two free throws with less than a second left for a four-point USC lead.

Blue had 10 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists for UCLA.

With the win, USC swept the season series over UCLA and leads the overall series 37-27.

The last five meetings between the teams have been decided by four points or fewer.
