The Falcons (22-2, 13-0 MAC) held a 28-21 edge at intermission
despite their shooting woes, going 8-of-26 (30 percent) from the
field and 0-of-5 on 3-pointers in the first half.
Bowling Green came out on fire after the break, draining 6-of-10
from the arc as it shot 46 percent (13-of-28) from the field
following intermission. Buffalo (8-16, 3-10) had issues with
the Falcons' defensive pressure, giving up 19 points off 20
Achter also had 11 rebounds and two blocks and Amber Flynn
scored eight points off the bench for Bowling Green, which held
a commanding 19-0 advantage in fast-break points.
Stephanie Bennett had 15 points and eight rebounds and Flynn
Pyykkonen contributed 11 and eight for Buffalo, which shot 37
percent (21-of-56) overall.
