LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Amy Sanders and Janevia Taylor each scored 17
points to lead Hawaii to a 63-50 win over Utah State on Saturday.
Hawaii (15-8, 6-6 Western Athletic Conference) scored 20 of the
game's final 25 points to win its third game in a row.
The Rainbow Wahine only made 27 percent of their shots from the
floor and trailed Utah State (3-19, 2-10) during much of the game.
Hawaii made up for its poor shooting by out-rebounding the
Aggies 52-39 and making 25-of-29 from the free throw line.
Jessica Freeman and Ali Marchant both scored 11 points for Utah
State, which has the worst record in the conference.
Hawaii trailed 28-23 at halftime, but eventually took the lead
when Taylor hit a 3-pointer with 12 minutes remaining.
